Today, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the appointment of Ellis Berns, Rachelle Chong, William Geppert, Charles Giancarlo, Paul Hernandez, William Huber, Christine Kehoe, Wendy Lazarus, Lloyd Levine, Michael Liang, Bryan Martin, Timothy McCallion, Sunne Wright McPeak, Milo Medin, Peter Pardee, Peter Pennekamp, Debra Richardson, Rollin Richmond, Larry Smarr, Jonathan Taplin and Emy Tseng to the Broadband Task Force. The purpose of the Task Force, according to the press release, is to identify opportunities for increased broadband adoption and enable the creation and deployment of new advanced communication technologies.” There are 5 Republicans on the 21 member Task Force, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be pro-government.
